    Absolutely loved this book, a sexy, hot read. Declan Hart had it all, fame, money, beautiful women and a successful career as a famous author. But he was'nt happy with that, he felt lonely and used. Events occur and Declan retreats and becomes a reclouse, not even wanting to write any more. Olivia works for the publishing company that Declan has signed to and is assigned to find out what is holding up Declans writing, thats not all thats driving Olivia, she needs to keep her job to help pay for her dads care. Olivia at first is shunned and not wanted at Declans house, she has not even met him as he refuses, but its not until a chance meeting that they bump into one another, that they find a connection and chemistry and Declan realises that Olivia sees more to him makes him start to enjoy life again. Not to forget the burning sexy chemistry. Can Olivia help save Declan.

    Vanessa Booke fans Nicholas and Tristan are back, okay the only have a little role in this book but I was so excited.

    This book is about Declan, he is the most arrogant, cocky, full of himself author that is one of the biggest womanizer one the plant. Well he was until karma caught up with.

    Olivia is the assistant editor working at StoneHaven Publishing assigned to work with Declan to get his book back on track after he asks for another extension to his deadline.

    Unbeknown to everyone except her boss Olivia has been editing all of Declan's books since the beginning, so she excited about getting to meet the man in person helping finish his current book. Only what she thought was going to awesome experience soon turns south as when she arrives at Hart mansions he refuses to see her.

    Encouraged by Declan's housekeeper and chef, Olivia stays in the mansion, while Declan keeps watch of what is happening through cctv all around his house. An misunderstanding leads Declan to leave the confines of upstairs and finally Olivia sees what he has been hiding. But to his shock she has the opposite reaction he was expecting leaving him to hope that all is not lost.

    Together they go on this fairy tail erotic romance, will this last or will their real lives get in the way of what could be their HEA.

    Vanessa Booke has written a beauty and the beast book, in a modern day setting. Declan is an author, suffering from writers block. He's holed up in his remote mansion, and he isn't very pleasant. Olivia is assistant to an editor, and is supposed to get Declan back on track to finish his book.

    I really didn't like Declan at the start of this book - he was a beast. I really didn't know how his character could be turned around, but Vanessa Booke managed - and she did it well. Olivia I liked right from the start - over worked, under valued, and persistent with her work.

    This story is well paced, and the characters well written. It's a fabulous take on the Beauty and the Beast story for adults - this couple definitely have chemistry and there are some hot scenes! There are also some messages about life in there too.

The darkness of Declan & the loneliness of Olvia dramatically entwined their souls and they both start to grow, heal and gain strength. I loved the character of Adele, superbly written giving her a motherly no-nonsense but loving personality. I read from cover to cover - there wasn't any lull in the pace so you are guaranteed a great reading experience from each page.

    Declan Hart is no my favorite Vanessa Booke bfn! He is hot AF!, writes erotic romance and is a "beast". Olivia is his perfect match and his editor. Declan has a reason for being a "beast", his life has changed since making a life altering bad decision. Olivia is sent to help him get back on track with his book but she does more than that. I look forward to the second Fairy Tales book coming out in August.
