An unconventional love is tested to its limits in this completely immersive dark ménage suspense, for fans of JL Perry and Pepper Winters.

Mateo is used to being in the spotlight, he craves it in everything he does . . . except when it comes to his love life - that is firmly in the closet.

Tomas shuns the spotlight, the one he was born into, he wants nothing to do with it or his high-flying family who now reject him for his choices in love.

But Tomas' and Mateo's carefully constructed lives are turned inside out when they discover a beautiful, battered woman on their doorstep. The woman with the sapphire eyes has no memory of who she is or how she got there. Can they help her remember before the men who are after her find her first?

The first standalone book in the BRATVA JEWELS series from the author of the DIRTY TEXAS books, JA Low.

TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMEEEE!!!!

Calling it at 24%. No rating.

Because I cannot. I cannot read another unsatisfactory MMF. I don't have it in me.

The writing style is not for me. Too little contractions so it reads stuffy and makes these characters sound artificial. The prose is choppy and full of overdramatic and somewhat repetitive verbiage.

I'm pretty sure I know what the endgame is already, but I can't seem to muster up an ounce of care.

I can't connect to any of these characters nor do I think their actions are believable given the circumstances.

However, there are already numerous reviews contradicting my thoughts so anyone interested in reading this I would encourage to read them.

My apologies to the authors and NetGalley for not finishing and my thanks for giving me an ARC.

An unbelievably fresh, enticing, and erotic menage romance from JA Low!

Told from multiple POV's, Sapphire is an epic love story of pain, heartache, vulnerability, and peril. You're taken on the journey of three souls bound together by their unfathomable love for each other, and experience first hand the lengths each person is willing to go for one another.

Tomas and Mateo's lives take an unexpected turn when they come across a battered and broken woman. Inexplicable feelings of possessiveness and care overtake both men, furthering their need to help and care for the unknown woman. And the more time spent together, intense desires flare as they each soon realize what they've been missing their whole lives.

Sapphire is an unexpected and truly amazing new book from Low, completely different from her Dirty Texas Series. Instead of jet-setting, hilarious rock stars, you're given a dark, suspenseful romance full of treacherous actions and even more menacing characters. A beautiful mix of terror and triumph, Sapphire's commendable writing style is beyond what you've come to love from Low. The powerful dynamic between the characters sets them apart from typical menage relationships. The fire burns to scorching levels of lust, passion, and unrelenting love and devotion.

Danger, secrets, forbidden romance, and unconditional love pour from the pages of Sapphire. An outstanding and exquisitely penned story that will leave you breathless for more.

Even though I finished this book quite quickly I didn't love it. At times the book went fast and other times it dragged. The plot did keep you reading.

There was MUCH drama. At times WAY beyond my tolerance for drama. The book's center was on human trafficking. Sapphire/Zoe is caught up in a terrible situation that would break anyone. She is a tough person, but I felt that a person can only take so much before they break. Zoe seemed to bounce back after rape, beatings, forced sexual acts, and threat of death like nothing really happened. It was mentioned that she had nightmares, but she had no problem jumping into bed with two men and had no flashbacks or trauma. That felt REALLY false to me.

The human trafficking aspect was very scary to me. How they just prey on girls, take them, and erase them. No one seems to stop it. Again just another way the women in society aren't valued as much as men.

The main men, Tomas and Mateo, were hot but they just seemed so wimpy and out of touch with reality. They didn't seem to protect Zoe very well and when they got her sister there it just seemed easier for the bad guys to get them. I am not into M/M , but I don't think that was the problem. They didn't seem all alpha to me. An alpha is all about action not crying that they can't find her. They also were more concerned with their images then taking the alpha male role of who cares what anyone thinks of me I am who I am hear me roar.

The threesome action was hot. Shower inducing. HOT. That was one of the best things about the book.

The ending was unrealistic. I can't really tell you what I didn't like without giving it away.

It was ok. Not great not terrible. I will want to read the next to see what is going to happen though.

Unfortunately, I felt that this story sacrificed quality for sexiness.

I got through about 20% of the book when I realized that too many things about it were driving me a little nutty. The main thing that I could not get past was the pacing. I felt like the book was on fast forward as if maybe the author was rushing to get to "the good parts," but the parts that were rushed seemed like they were pretty important and would've added to the story.

I felt like this book touches on some really sensitive issues that could've benefitted from having more time dedicated to it.

There was also so much TELLING and not enough SHOWING -- particularly when it came to Zoe. Mateo and Tomas constantly talked about how wonderful and smart and funny Zoe was, but it was never SHOWN. At least in as much as I had read.

This could possibly just be the genre of the book, I've only read one other M/M/F erotica book aside from this one and it had the same issues: Under developed characters and a shaky storyline.

I've been reading some really well-written, fantastic books with great story lines lately, and I've always said that a lot of what makes a book really great for a reader is TIMING. Maybe my timing with this book was just off :/

This book spontanously landed on my kindle as I enjoy a good and hot menage story once in a while and this book sounded really interesting.

The beginning was interesting and I was curious what happened to Zoe. After some introduction the story concentrates on the love story between Tomas, Mateo and Zoe and there were some really hot scenes but this book has definitely more.

I really enjoyed the suspense part of the book. The mafia story was very gripping and made the book a real pageturner.

The love story was sweet and definitely hot but things developed a bit too fast for my taste. It felt pretty rushed to me. The characters were interesting as well but remained a bit shallow for my liking.

The book ends with a mean cliffhanger, so I will have to continue reading soon.

The love between the characters in this book is what every love story should be based off of. If i could give this 10/10 stars i would in a heart beat i loved it so much!!

Searingly hot….

Wow I loved this book….this is a really enthralling, searingly hot and intense read…. I love the original concept of this book; the elements of suspense and intrigue combined with emotion and steamy romance …Matteo and Tomas are two gorgeous guys in a loving but secret relationship and Zoe is a smart, beautiful woman whose life they save…. Zoe has no recollection of her identity but time is running out as a deadly enemy threatens not only her life but also the lives of her family and the men who protect her as well as the secrets that they keep…..

The three main characters take turns to relate their versions of the story; on occasions they revisit a particular scene helpfully providing more than one perspective on a particular event….. the author has created strong characters that are fully developed and believable…. the passion between Matteo and Tomas is tangible; they are contrasting personalities and yet their relationship is utterly beautiful and I loved the deep connection between them with Zoe adding another complementary layer to their emotional bonds and sexual encounters…’she completes the circle’….in addition to the protagonists the subsidiary characters whether family, friend or foe are complex, interesting and realistic…I look forward to reading more about them all in the future….

This is an exciting sexy thriller, with dark themes underpinned by a captivating and sizzling menage love story….the action is fast paced particularly in the second half and the gripping finale sets the scene for the rest of the series…..This book was reviewed for Summer's Eve Reads

I am a slow reader, I'm the first to admit it...but not with this book.
'Sapphire' by JA Low totally consumed me and I couldn't put it down until I was finished. This book had everything I love in a book. A storyline that kept me captivated, it brought out all of the emotions, had some of the hottest sex scenes I've ever read, and characters that weren't perfect but I couldn't help but fall in love with them. I love a book where I am half way through it and I have no idea how it will end, and this is how I felt while reading Sapphire. I loved the unpredictability of the storyline which was based around the Russian Mafia and sex trafficking. JA Low is such a believable and descriptive writer. I could picture the detail in every scene, I felt Zoe's anger and frustration, and I even cried at a certain part towards the end of the book.
If you are a lover of books on the darker side, you will love Sapphire and I am so glad we got a hint of more to come in this series, because I am hooked and I can't wait for more.

Book provided from netgalley for an honest review.

I thought this book was "ok," it didn't turn me away on not continuing to read. Some parts of the story were predictiable, but other times it wasn't. Honestly, I couldn't put it down.
The grammetical errors, did turn me off a little bit because they were noticeable, but I still continued to read the story. .

Would I read the next book in the series, yes, I would.
Would I jump right away, once the next book came out, I'm not sure.

Overall, it was a good read for me.

🔥I LOVE SAPPHIRES, I LOVE JA LOW & I LOVE BOOK 1 Of THE BRATVA JEWELS SERIES🔥
SAPPHIRE is Book 1 in JA LOW's new Bratva Jewels series, and it has everything!!! Like all of her books, I read it from beginning to end in one day, because, as with all of her books, once I started, I could not put it down!!!! Honestly, after reading her first series, Dirty Texas, JA LOW , quickly, became one of my FAVORITE authors whose books I will ALWAYS buy and read🔥🔥

I don't like to read spoilers in reviews, and I refuse to write them for others...I believe, anyone, who buys a book, should have the same pleasure as I did, of not knowing what will happen next ....But, even if I did believe in writing spoilers, I wouldn't even know where to begin or end... I. LOVED. THE. ENTIRE.BOOK!!!...I always love a really good love story with hot, sexy characters and hot, sexy language and hot, sexy love scenes...And SAPPHIRE has it all....🔥🔥

Although I don't normally automatically purchase books with a ménage story, JA Low wrote SAPPHIRE, so I was ABSO-FREAKIN'-LUTELY going to read it!!! And, as with all of her books, I was so thankful I did.....But, although, SAPPHIRE Is definitely a hot sexy ménage story, It is SO, SO much more! And, I will say this....TOMAS and MATTEO (two of the hottest and sexiest men I've ever read about) thought their lives were full, and they had everything they needed or wanted with in each other......until ZOE, literally, falls into their life....🔥🔥

SAPPHIRE is completely different, from JA Low's other books, and it obviously proves that Dirty Texas wasn't "beginner's luck" for JA LOW....This woman can write!!! And I will ALWAYS, ALWAYS buy EVERY book she writes. 🔥🔥🔥

Thanks, JA LOW, for giving us another great series to which we will impatiently look forward to each new book...And, If SAPPHIRE is any indication of the kind of series, the Bratva Jewels Series will be, I'll be reading them over and over for years to come...🔥🔥
Plus, because DIAMOND(s) are supposedly a girl's best friend....I am really looking forward to Book #2 of JA Low's the Bratva Jewels Series!!! 🔥🔥

First off I can't believe we have to wait until November the next one. I want it now this series is going to be fantastic I can feel it.

At first I wasn't sure if I was going like this story I'll be honest I haven't read many like this at all but hello new genres I loved everything about this book absolutely everything.

Mateo I'm starting with him because for me he was the sweetest character and I really like the personality that came through the pages he is your typical Spanish heartthrob and could see his bubbly personality. He left his heart of his sleeve and everyone saw it and it was really beautiful to see.

I actually didn't know what to think about Tomas he was very standoffish and wasn't really showing much but of course as the book went on he shined through and he was another fantastic character. He became one of my Favorites he was just strong and the backbone of Mateo and even Zoe.

Zoe is one of the strongest characters I have read to date. She is nearly killed, loses her memory and finds comfort in Mateo and Tomas who take her in and care for her. For someone who has been through what she has I really did love this character. She never gave up, never even questioned that she wouldn't be back where she belonged.

I really felt that JA Low wrote all 3 characters were perfectly. Its hard enough to get 1 right but JA got all 3 so right. Also with all the inclusions of Zoes family I still feel we got a look into each of her family members lives and this was awesome to read.

I don't really want to give too much away as this book going in blind is the best surprise, this book had me on the edge, I didn't want to put it down, I needed to know what and how things work out. It was suspenseful, some violence and some very very hot sex scenes. I really want to go back already and read this again, I don't say that about many books, but I am ready to go back in or give me the next book.

5 big stars for this baby and seriously we have to wait till November can't believe it, I will be over here just waiting and waiting.

** ARC provided by the author for an honest review **

J.A. Low begins her Bratva Jewels series with Sapphire. Told from the rotating views of the three main characters, this is an unconventional love story, one that has dark scenes that will rock your fantasies! This book is just the beginning, so don't expect a complete happy ending. You've been forewarned.

Tomas Ramirez is a businessman dealing in property development. He is austere and always dresses to the nines. He is wealthy and completely in love with his partner Mateo Vilaro, the artist, model and bad boy Spanish soap star. Keeping their relationship a secret is trivial to Mateo's career fan base; keeping the heterosexual façade in reality even though behind closed he is smitten with Tomas. Both of their lives are wonderful and great. Especially when Mateo's dream of having a gallery exhibit; it's time to celebrate!

Their celebration is cut short when they arrive home to find a badly beaten woman who has been left for dead. The men instantly go into protective mode, going as far as to move her in with them. This woman turns their world on their axis, complicating their feelings. She has no memory of what happened before. She doesn't even know who she is. How can they have a future when they don't know the past? What happens when she remembers and her past catches up to them?

Violent and controversial. The relationship, the subject matter, the whole darn thing. This is stuff you hear about on the news but dismiss believing it could never happen to you. This book is a beautiful love story and hideous nightmare combined. I was completely enamored with this story. I, like Zoe, fell under the Mateo and Tomas effect. I couldn't stop reading and even though I knew something was coming, the end completely devastated me and left me longing for more. This book has all of my emotions right now, and deserves all the stars!

OMG! This was an AMAZING book. It will suck you in from the very first page and not let you out until you finish.

I usually am not one to like the darker side of romance but this book was out of this world.

The steam level of the sex scenes in this book are off the charts! I seriously needed a fan a few times because they were just that hot. I don't think I have ever read any scenes as steamy as JA Low's.

Parts of this book can be a bit confronting as it involves the Russian mafia, the Bratva, as well as sex trafficking. However, even knowing that I still would highly recommend reading this story.
The story starts with Zoe, who is a university student in Barcelona, going out on the town with her sister Gracie. They meet two very attractive Russian guys, Nikolai and Dmitri. Nikolai lulls Zoe into believing they are in a relationship and invites her back to his home country of Russia. What Zoe doesn't know is that this is the start of what will become the worst decision of her life.

After trying to escape from the Bratva, she finds herself beaten to within an inch of her life and dumped in Ibiza. Her two rescuers, Mateo and Tomas, are two very successful men who take her under their wing. The romance that buds from this relationship is truly beautiful.

The secondary characters in this book were just as enjoyable as the main ones. Zoe's mother had me cracking up at the best of times. She has absolutely no filter.

Overall this book is the perfect balance of romance, thriller with a tiny bit of comedic relief thrown in. Seriously, you need to read this!

Favorite Quote:
'You hurt me, you sold me. That's not love.' They always say in the movies when in a hostile situation try to talk to the person, calm them down that way.

'To me it was.' And I notice a single tear slip from Nikolai's eye. 'When I saw you across the bar, I knew you were different. I wasn't supposed to stay with you for the month. My orders were to bring you straight to Moscow, but I couldn't. I knew what would happen if I did. I wanted a normal life with you, even if it was for a fleeting moment, Zoe.'

Tears were falling down my cheeks now. I am stunned by Nikolai's words.

'You were worth the trouble I got into for not bringing you sooner. For the first time in my life, I could see a future with someone.'
This book was the right amount of dark. I love when a mmf book is done right, I often find that the males tend to be too much alike, but I enjoyed how distinctive both of their personalities were and I loved each one differently. A strong female lead really made this book a great book and had me devouring it. The only reason I took off a star was because I felt like something was missing and I honestly wish something different would've happened with Nikolai, oops.

Sapphire was a heart-warming and captivating story; it certainly warmed my heart to see how two men could care and protect a stranger. JA Low did an exceptional job of writing this story; she made me laugh, cry, and fall in love. The book had grabbed my attention right away from the beginning of the storyline and throughout the whole book. It felt right to watch all the characters come together through the rough and good times.

I loved how Zoe "Sapphire" Clarks mom encourages her to take her sister Gracie out on the town for a girls night. That is where they meet Nikolai and Dmitri, who the sisters fall for instantly. I hated how Nikolai treats Zoe after a month of dating though. Mateo and Tomàs find Zoe crumpled and left barely breathing outside the gates of their house, it made me feel really happy that they took action in getting her help. The way that Mateo and Tomàs care for her and take her in is just wonderful. Watching the three of them fall in love with each other was phenomenal.

It is the first book in the Bratva Jewels series and the first book I have read from JA Low; it won't be the last. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Deliciously addictive and dark, JA Low shines in the darkness of her new Bratva Jewels series while staying true and authentic to her erotic style that her readers have come to expect!

Hot from cover to cover, prepare to have your panties, twisted, lit and wrung over and over again in this suspenseful, unconventional love affair! The first in the Bratva Jewels series offers a little bit of everything for the romance lover. Sizzle, swoon, and fall head over heels in love with Mateo and Tomas as they fall for Zoe. From the highest of highs to the darkest pits of plot hell, its fabulous, addictive, and I could not put the book down. GAH!

There's so much depth and so many layers, and complexities within Sapphire, it's all so astounding and brilliant! Told from multiple alternating points of view, be prepared to swoon and be crushed all in one fell swoop. Bratva, my dear. Bratva. They're there and they're watching you!

I have become a fan of J.A. Low with her Dirty Texas rockers so when I saw this I had to give it a try and I was not disappointed. This book isn’t afraid to touch on some intense subject matters and has you feeling everything from heart break, to lust, to love and everything in between. Mateo and Tomas find Zoe broken and beaten and take her in. What could ever become of this trio when they are thrown together and deal everything imaginable?

Cliffhanger? ✅️

Do I recommend? ✅️

Trigger Warnings: ☠️ ☠️ ☠️

Tropes: MMF romance, romantic suspense, amnesia, billionaire, mafia

Three lives were brought together by an unconventional love that will test every limit they could have. Mateo Vilaro shines in the spotlight and he's comfortable there as long as no one knows the reality of his love life. Tomas Ramirez was born into the spotlight but would rather stay in the shadows. His family rejects him because of who he loves. Their well-ordered lives are shocked to the core when they find a gorgeous woman waiting on their doorstep. Zoe has remarkably beautiful sapphire-colored eyes and no idea who she is or where she comes from. Can they help her fill in the blanks before the men of the Bratva catch up?

This story consisted of romance with suspense weaved in and is a MMF, which is my favorite pairing. That made for a perfect combination. Add in the fact that I'm new to the author and it became a match made in heaven. The journey within these pages deals with many difficult issues but she wrote them with utmost respect. Mateo and Tomas's story before meeting Zoe was utterly heartbreaking but together they were a swoon-worthy combination. It was an action-packed, page-turner with edge of your seat suspense and enought angst to keep me reading pages until the early morning hours. I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Jess is one of my favourite authors and I knew I was going to love this book even before I started the read and as expected I was in awe. The whole read was an emotional rollercoaster. I have read every single series by Jess except for the Bratva Jewels, I kept is aside to read if I was in a slump. But when I got to know that it was being edited and released I had to read it.

I was in love with this triade from the beginning and as I got to know them more and there story progressed I fell hard for all three of them. Zoe, Mateo and Tomas have different personalities but they complete each other. I loved how they bonded individually and as a triade. It isn't long since Tomas and Mateo started there relationship with Zoe but they did everything to have her in there lives.

I was in awe with Zoe. She is so compassionate and strong, fighting for her loved ones and the people she care for. My heart broke for everything she went through with the Bratva. She had to not just go through it but also watch her sister suffer the same fate. I was even more in love with her after the sacrifices she made. What Mateo and Tomas went through when Zoe wasn't with them was heartbreaking. And there were so many moments these two men made me swoon. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot, enough to burn the pages.

Jess has written about some sensitive topics like slavery and human trafficking very well. Nothing was rushed or insensitive in the writing and it was easy to connect to all the characters. I loved the beginning of the last chapter but by the end I was left with a huge shock. Now I am counting days for Diamond. And hopefully, in future we get books for Zoe's other sisters.

Thanks to Jess for the advanced copy.

Wow wow wow.
First of all we are so excited and privileged to be an ARC reader for JA Low. We absolutely love all her books and this one definitely did not disappoint.

This book is brilliant it’s a MMF so please check trigger warnings before reading.

It’s an unconventional love that is tested to its limits.
Mateo and Tomas are 2 well off men that like to try different things in their personal life but when a stranger unexpectedly turns up at their gates what are they supposed to do?.
The woman with the sapphire eyes has no memory of who she is or how she got there but it’s up to Tomas and Mateo to change that. When truths are uncovered you can’t help but feel for Zoe, she’s been through so much. She’s experienced things that no one ever should, but she’s strong, brave and determined.

This book is Dark and spicy 🥵 you won’t be able to put it down.

We are itching for the next instalment 😬
We can’t wait to see what happens.

If you haven’t read any of JA Lows books then go do it. You won’t be disappointed

Happy reading

- MM MMF
- Billionaires
- Feisty FMC
- Amnesia
- Mafia

I really enjoyed this book! I was hooked from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down.

I loved these characters and that this book was MMF. Zoe was such a kind and selfless person always putting others before herself even if it meant she was in serious danger. I also thought she was a really interesting character with some unusual and ambitious goals before the bratva got a hold of her. she

She really hit the jackpot with Mateo and Tomas. Mateo, the artist and actor, was so enthusiastic and doting and a perfect counterbalance to Tomas who was more reserved and strategic while still being completely devoted to those he loved.

The spice in this book was fantastic. The slow burn and the chemistry between Zoe and the guys that they all tried to ignore just built and built until it couldn’t be denied. But don’t worry, while they guys may have been denying their attraction to Zoe they were not hold back when it came to loving each other.

I’m so used to mafia dark romance where the MMC is in the mafia so it was a nice change of pace for the villain to be bratva. This book did go into some pretty dark situations so I definitely recommend reading the trigger warnings.

There were a few areas where the pacing could have been a little better and I really didn’t enjoy the blatant homophobia by some family members and the bratva. I do understand that it was used to emphasise how terrible both of those groups were. But overall an enjoyable read and I can’t wait for the second book!

Mateo Vilaro and Thomas Ramirez are coming home from an event when they find a badly beaten woman named Zoe outside the gate of their Ibezia home. Zoe cannot remember what happened to her and is hopeful the post-traumatic amnesia or repressed memory loss from the trauma she experienced is only temporary. With no memory and no place to go, Zoe stays with the kind men who found her. She quickly forms a strong bond with Mateo and Tomas and It’s not long before all three engage in a steamy relationship. Enjoying an evening out Zoe gets caught off-guard when a stranger recognizes her and explains the danger she’s in. Zoe will do anything to protect the ones she loves but, unfortunately, the Russian Mafia will stop at nothing to get their precious jewel back.

An incredible beginning to a new series. It's a great blend of dark themes, great characters, and plenty of steam. The story kept me fully engrossed in what would happen next. I cannot wait until Diamond comes out next month. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

I read Sapphire when it was first released and loved it just like I now with this edition. I think this could be the genre for this author, she has crafted an interesting and thrilling romantic suspense story that I found hard to put down. Considering I rarely read books a second time this is saying a lot!

Zoe is one sassy, strong female lead character, she is not only a believable character but also someone I would gladly enjoy meeting if she were real! The lead male characters, Mateo and Tomas, are fantastic, you can't help but fall in love with them as well. There are some incredibly evil ones that make you want to act violently toward them and these are described with such precision it’s easy to visualise them. I really did want to whack them over the head too.

The book has a solid storyline that packs a punch with its fast-paced, action-packed scenes. The suspense element is outstanding and I was on the edge of my seat in quite a few scenes just waiting to see what would happen, and yes, even though I had read the first edition. I won't say, more as I don't want to give away any of the story, but be prepared for the excitement and emotional roller coaster.

This story is dark but there are some great lighter scenes to balance things, it is full of romance, passion, relationships and, as stated, has fantastic suspense. I totally recommend it to everyone.
