    This is the second book in the Royal Blood Series. It follows Mercy and X's fight for answers and revenge. It is darker than the first book but just as gripping. Have just downloaded the next in the series.

    WOW! I loved the first book Royal Blood which is why I was so anxious for the release of Book 2...Bad Blood. I was not dissapointed. In fact I enjoyed it more than the first...didn't think that was possible. X and Mercy are explosive together. Both are broken in different ways but they have something in common that can help fix them. Killing the person that helped break them. They work together to plan an assassination. This book is full of action, intrigue and quite a bit of really hot, erotic sex. It's an emotional roller coaster ride. This story is not left as a cliffhanger but there is so much more I'd like to know about X and Mercy that I hope Ms Cross will do a follow-up book. For now I'm patiently waiting for Royal Blood 2.5 being released in May. This story deals with one of the supporting characters in Bad Blood. Ms. Cross gave me just enough of a taste of him to make me want to know more. I've read all of Ms. Cross's books and have never been let down. I can't wait for the next journey she takes me on. Thanks Amity for hours of reading enjoyment.

    This book picked up exactly where book one left off. And I was concerned, could Amity deliver a sequel that would measure up to book one and my love for X? Why yes, yes she can. She can exceed it.

    Amity has delivered a sequel that brings our characters even closer, but yet lets them grow individually. She's managed to let X break down a little and make Mercy stronger. So our characters have met in the middle of sorts. X is still trying to figure out his memory and debunk his training while Mercy is soaking up everything he is teaching her. And by the end, she is badass.

    Amity has also upped the hot factor. While X and Mercy get closer, they get steamier. He opens up to her and it's almost like he can't survive without what she does to him, she clears the fog from his brain. She grounds him from the darkness and he takes her higher. But when they're getting freaky, they burn up the room. It's so hot.

    Amity has done a great job of writing a badass, hot, steamy, twisted sequel. I absolutely loved it from start to end. Can't wait to see what happens next!

    What a great second book in a series. None stop right from the start. Gives you some little reminders from the first book, but no enough for it to feel repetitive.
    Mercy needs to learn as much as she can to take out Sykes, and X is the only one that can do it.
    This book is action packed, so set yourself some time to sit and enjoy it.
