    Book 2 of this Sydney based spin off had my Kindle heart beating double time.

    MC Biker books are my Kindle crack. I will happily read and usually relish romances of all kinds but every now and then I NEED an MC Biker story.

    Nitro and Tatum were perfect in a beautifully dark and imperfect way. Nitro is brooding, angry and loyal to his club and his family. I loved watching his relationship with Dustin, Lynny and Renee. Seeing that side of him balanced out the dark side and I loved seeing the layers of his character. Tatum is fierce, strong and loyal. She is an interesting heroine and I liked the pace at which we learn her back story. She is very likeable and I warmed to her from the start.

    Twists in the plot surprised me. It is very violent in places- more than I had expected it to be. It is gritty and dark . But it is also sexy, passionate and dramatic. There is a wonderfully dry sense of humour between the H/h.

    The best part for me was the way the intimacy between them grew and how they loved each other so intensely. We didn't see Nitro be intimate with other women. Lately I've been reading an increasing number of books where you do see that and although I don't mind pushing my comfort zones in the books I read, at heart , I do not like the Hero being with other women when he knows the heroine. I needed a solid, no messing alpha and Ms Levine delivered big time.
    Nitro is my kind of dark, loyal and bad**s hero.
    Tatum is a cracking heroine.
    Together they are perfect.

    Nitro's Torment concludes my reading of the Sydney Storm MC, and I really do need to kick myself for not reading this series sooner!

    Tatum and Monroe are quite possibly my favourites of all the ‘old ladies’. Their interactions not only between each other, but also with the other characters are fabulous. There’s never a dull moment and I absolutely love the relationship that they share. I absolutely adore Tatum’s personality. She’s a lady who knows what she wants and how to get things done. She’s also a survivor, and after what she goes through during this narrative, she has my admiration for certain.

    These biker men, when they fall there is no stopping them from getting what they want. It wasn’t only Nitro’s relationship with Tatum that I loved witnessing. His protectiveness and caring side towards those close to him were definite highlights of this story too.

    There are some tough scenes that were hard to read, though expected as this is a MC romance after all. Both leading characters have a history which has left them with emotional scars and insecurities. Nitro and Tatum are perfect for each other. The chemistry between them is as hot as Hades too.

    I love the continuing story arc throughout this series, which reminds me to recommend that although each protagonist’s story can be read as a standalone, I would advise to read each book in release order. My only niggle regarding Nitro’s Torment is that it didn’t quite hold my complete attention towards the end, that was until the story came to its climax and had me on the edge of my seat once again.

    This is Book 2 in the Sydney Storm MC series. This is Nitro's story.

    Nitro is cold and uncaring. He only cares for his club and his small family. He's the Clubs Sergeant-at-Arms. He carries out all the dirty work. If someone needs taking out he's the one to do it.

    The Club are about to go to war with a rival MC. One of their members was hurting the families of Storm so Nitro is sent to take care of him for good. He goes to complete the job but what he finds when bursts in to do the job is not only his rival but a very beaten Tatum. Tatum has her own agenda with the rival MC member Nitro is there to kill but he finishes the job for her. She has no choice but to go with Nitro to stay safe. She fights him every step of the way and he fights her right back.

    This story was so exciting i didn't even put my kindle down to cook dinner or go to the bathroom. It grabbed me and pulled me in never letting go until the last word. Even then my head was in the clouds about the story and also whats coming next! There's plenty of action going on with the Club. There's action in both their lives. It was non stop from the first page to the last. What a Ride!!

    Both Nitro and Tatum are fighting demons. Both are trying to hide their darkness from the world but fail at hiding it from each other. Nitro thinks he has no room for anyone but family but as his character came out you see a very different man. He cares deeply about those that matter to him, he will do anything to make them happy and Tatum managed to worm her way into his life without trying.

    Tatum is so strong and she had been for some time whilst seeking revenge, but at some point all the hurt and trauma she's been through had to come out. For unknown reasons to her Nitro brought all her feelings to the surface so she had to deal with them. She needed a strong shoulder to lean on while she regrouped.

    The chemistry between the two was fiery and hot and electric. It was like clash of the stubborn titans! They are so perfect together. He knows how to be there for her and likewise with Tatum she knows when to butt in and when to give him room. These two are the most perfect imperfect lovers I've read. I loved them both.

    You get to see more of the Sydney Storm brothers and I'm really excited to get all their stories too.

    This is one of my favorite MC reads ever! I do love those Storm men! I would highly recommend this book to anyone. It'll be the ride of your life! Love love love!!

    Another intense read by this amazing author. Wow I loved both Nitro and Tatum individually and together they were magnificent!!!! The tittle of this one is very fitting as both have lived through some terrible things. Loved reading them together from their very first intense encounter to the development of their relationship. Nitro was so protective of his family and we got to see he sweet side but boy could he dirty it up in the bedroom!!! Tatum amazed me with her strength of character, just loved her!
    Didn't want to put my book down.....that is until the gun fight scene with the other bike gang and Kick was shot, thought dead!!!! I damn near threw my book away not wanting to read more in case he didn't make it!!!!!!!! seriously this book had me captivated. SOOOOO glad kick made it!
    Now King we see snippets of and I must admit I think I have a love-hate relationship, one minute im thinking yep, looking forward to more on him and next nope can't stand him! ugh lol.
    Loved all the secondary characters and hope to see more on Monroe, loved her!
    Overall an amazing read that I didnt want to put down, really looking forward to the next in the series!

    Nitro's Torment has become my favorite Sydney Storm MC book so far by Nina Levine! I read this book nearly all in one sitting, then went back and re-read portions of it again. I am continually awed by Nina Levine's talent as a writer, and Nitro's Torment is certainly no exception.

    Nitro, hard, cold and contained with a childhood most cannot wrap their heads around. He became "the man of the family" far too young, but did everything he could for his sister, Marilyn, his brother Dustin, and Marilyn's daughter, Renee. They were his family, and he was there for them no matter what, as were the men of Sydney Storm MC.

    Tatum and her twin brother, Chris knew the heartache of being rejected by their mother, who just up and left them one day before they got home from school. She left them a letter, as if that would explain what she had done to two young kids. Tatum suffered nightmares of that awful day, and it bothered her she wasted so much time on a woman that clearly didn't want them. Tatum married a man, Randall that lived the high life, and made Tatum think this was what she really wanted too, but the Ivory Tower soon came crashing down around Tatum's head as she was disbarred from her brilliant career as a lawyer because she did things that she shouldn't in order to help Randall, but rather than be grateful to his wife, he left her with the money she earned for him, and she sank into the mire that was Randall's world. No one wanted to know her, except Duvall, and he cared more than Tatum could reciprocate, but she valued his friendship. She began working doing legal work for Billy Jones, a not so nice guy to most who ran strip clubs, and whatever else was lucrative. He gave Tatum a job when no one else in the town would, and for that she was grateful and loyal to Billy.

    Tatum was also hard, and was a wisecracking woman that took no crap from anyone, and was on a mission to avenge her twin brother Chris's murder. Her plan was easy until Nitro got in the way at the casino. Tatum didn't realize at the time that Nitro was after the same guy, to have him meet the same end, Tatum planned, but for a totally different "family" reason. In her "drop 'em where they stand" sexy outfit she gave Nitro hell, and he was just a bit curious, but more annoyed she nearly made him miss his target. Not long after that chance meeting Nitro finds her in the room, on the bed, badly beaten, and possibly raped by the scumbag from Silver Hell MC who were definitely not Storm's friends at this juncture. Nitro saves Tatum from a worse fate with the Silver Hell scumbag, but she makes it clear she is not pleased. Nitro is a bit taken back by this woman that is beautiful to look at, but seems bad to the bone on the inside!

    Silver Hell MC has been retaliating by doing unspeakable things not to just members of Storm, but worst of all, to the members families, and that will not be tolerated by the Storm MC under any circumstances!

    Storm takes Tatum to the clubhouse in a protective custody kind of move as now Silver Hell knows she was there when their member died in the hotel room. Tatum is as bristly and sharp as an old desert cactus, and doesn't endear herself to the Storm President, King, and Tatum couldn't care less. But then she showed her more womanly, more human side, when a run for the boys went very bad and there was an ambush by Silver Hell. Kick was shot, and it was thought he wouldn't live. Tatum held, Evie, Kick's wife when she got to the clubhouse, and King was grateful to Tatum for taking over the situation that he did not have a clue how to handle with Evie.

    Twice Nitro has saved Tatum, and she figures that counts for something, but then he says or does something that irritates her and they are off again on their hate/hate relationship, but underneath all the bravdo coming off both of them in waves there was an interest, a "what if" kind of thoughts on both their parts.

    A person from Nitro's past, his uncle Joseph, who is cruel beyond reason, and tried to shape Nitro from a young age into the soldier he wanted to do his bidding for the empire he wanted to create. Joseph's second-in-command, William beat the stuffing out of Nitro throughout his young life as well to toughen him up for his role in Joseph's "army". What Nitro never knew until adulthood was Joseph raped Marilyn, and he was partly the reason for her downward spiral into depression and darkness. Joseph is determined to have his way, and have Nitro (Rhys) back in his control, and he kidnaps Tatum to prove the lengths he will go to in order to get Nitro's attention. He beats Tatum nearly to death, and Nitro agrees to do whatever Joseph wants if he will let Tatum go and make sure she gets medical help. Joseph and William beat Nitro almost to death as well in their effort to make sure Nitro is willing and pliable to do Joseph's bidding. The only thing Nitro is certain of is that a chance will present itself, and he will kill both Joseph and Williams and get back to Tatum. Nitro's chance presents itself, and he takes it without a second of hesitation.

    Tatum and Nitro's story is filled with secrets each hold, and secrets that others hold around them. It is a story of Storm helping the couple, and King realizing he should have listened to Nitro about Joseph. Both Tatum and Nitro discover that they need each other in their lives, and they will do anything to make that happen!

    Can't say enough good things about this amazing book from Nina Levine - except maybe - BRAVO!!!
