    But guess what? I am Miss Marple. I totally sussed it. Extra points for me.

    Xavier is smoking hot. I'm going to don a white server's outfit and deliver him an English breakfast muffin with raspberries on the side. I think he would appreciate that.

    Ok - I will level with you. This is a short novella. There can be no misconception. You will read it quickly. It will end before you expect and yes, the volumes together will be shamazing. Deal with it.

    Sex is sexy. There is intrigue. Speculate, guess, take a punt. See if you can beat my sleuthing skills. I have other theories that will no doubt be explored in part 2. Not sharing my theories yet or I might look like a right Charlie.

    And lobster. With butter sauce. A hint of garlic? Served with a cool crisp French white wine. Picpoul de pinet peut etre? You got me salivating and I will not be content until I get it.

    Miami - can I move there? Sexy men. Sexy girls. Yachts.

    If you know and read Roxy's books The Scene is as you would expect. It has her stamp!

    Final word, the appreciation between authors I love. Read the gubbins at the end and find a gem.

    Another serial from Roxy Sloane, In this, part 1, we see Nikki arriving in Miami to work on a hotel resort with her friend Heather. Nikki has another motive for working there though, she is determined to find answers as to what happened to her brother before his 'accidental death'.

    She immediately catches the eye of rich guest, Xavier who sets out to wine and dine her.

    It was OK, I found Xavier a bit cheesy with his pick up lines and I thought Nikki conveniently made friends very quickly with the right people who were involved in 'The Scene' that could help her find her answers.

    As expected, this ends on a cliffhanger. A very short read.

    She is quickly seduced by Xavier and as their relationship grows. She can't help falling for Xavier and has to battle with her feelings of wanting to find out more about her brother and the circumstances of his death and her feelings for Xavier.

    Can Nichole resist Xavier and not be distracted while she tries to solve the mystery of her brother's death?

He was killed in a car accident and she knows there has to be more to this story. She gets a job at this really nice and expensive resort. She moves in with a friend from her childhood. She does everything she can to find out the truth. At the resort, she meets Xavier. He's a guest at the resort and he's completely gorgeous. He's very interested in Nicole and tries to get her.

    Worth reading and looking forward to reading The Scene Part 2.
